In 2015, he founded Precoil, a consultancy that helps companies find product market fit using lean startup, design thinking, and business model innovation. David has helped validate new products and services at companies such as GE, Toyota, Adobe, HP and Behr.
David is the co-author of "Testing Business Ideas", a best-selling business book published by Wiley along with Alexander Osterwalder. Several times a year, he leads an online Strategyzer training program based around the concepts of this very book book. He is known for his practical and engaging approach to innovation and has helped countless companies transform their approach to product development.
Prior to advising, David spent over 11 years of his career scaling technology startups. He continues to give back to the startup community by teaching at several accelerators in Silicon Valley and frequently leads workshops and talks at numerous large conferences.
